At an early age, Jordan Andrew, owner of Happy House Painting, learned the value of hard work and the importance of a job well done. As he navigates entrepreneurship, he’s simultaneously learning a great deal about how he can better serve the people in the community.

Jordan comes from a family of painters and tradesmen, a legacy that has helped him build a solid foundation for his business. When Jordan was 14, his dad started a residential painting company, and he worked at this business periodically throughout high school and beyond. It was through this venture that Jordan first became interested in the painting industry and learned about business. When he was in his early 20s, Jordan took another route: He built and modified racing sailboats in San Diego. Then, when Jordan’s brother took over their dad’s painting company, the brothers teamed up as partners.

 

Jordan eventually decided to branch out on his own to open Happy House Painting. “I’ve always taken pride in my work,” he shares. “Owning my own business is something I will always take pride in. I enjoy the challenge and personal growth that comes with solving problems and putting out a great product to the community. I love what I do, the people I meet, and the journey as a whole.”

Happy House Painting is a full-service painting company that works with their clients from the first step of color consultations to the last step of cleaning up the job site. The business, which is fully insured, licensed, and bonded, offers a wide range of paint services, including interior and exterior painting that encompasses everything from roof painting to cabinetry and furniture paint jobs. They also offer metal building coatings and specialty clear coatings. “One thing I have always preached to my crew is doing the job right,” Jordan explains. “There are many areas to cut corners in painting that might not be noticed at first.

By completing all steps of the project in the correct order, we guarantee a positive, happy outcome.” A sign that Jordan and his Happy House crew are doing things right are the number of jobs they get by referral; Jordan says a combination of satisfaction, availability, and affordability helps them maintain a stellar status.
