Owned by David Filipps, MaidPro is run with the help of his two daughters, Megan, the general manager who oversees daily operations, and Alexandra, who manages payroll and finances. David’s journey to owning MaidPro was driven by a desire to build something meaningful with his family. After a long career as a real estate attorney, including running his own business, David retired, only to discover he wasn’t ready to stop working. When he learned that the local MaidPro franchise was for sale, he saw an opportunity to create a family-oriented business. Despite purchasing the company in early 2020, just before the pandemic hit, the Filipps family persevered.

The Filipps family’s close-knit dynamic extends into their personal lives, as they all live in the same area. Megan resides in Roseville with her husband, Mark, while Alexandra and her husband, Cody, live on the family “farm” in Placer County with their three sons, Hunter, Clayton, and J.J. The Filipps’ farm is home to five dogs, two cats, two bunnies, two cows, four goats, 11 ducks, and countless chickens. A large greenhouse, a garden, and an orchard provide homegrown vegetables and fruits.
