Doughney's Sandwich Shop

NOVEMBER 2026

Doughney's Sandwich Shop has a fresh name, a whole lot of personality, and the same heart that’s been serving Loomis for nearly a decade. With quality ingredients, fresh bread, and a nod to local history, the Doney family is putting their own stamp on the sandwich shop while continuing to create a place where everyone feels at home.

Inspired by Loomis’ agricultural heritage, Doughney’s vintage orchard-style branding pays homage to the town’s roots, blending a little nostalgia with a playful twist. From creatively named sandwiches like The Grove, The Snake Slayer, and The Big Dill to the thoughtful touches throughout the shop, everything reflects the family’s love for Loomis and their passion for making great sandwiches.

For Mark and Tracy Doney, alongside their son Evan, the corner of Taylor and Webb has become much more than a place to make sandwiches. It’s where they’ve built lasting relationships, become part of the community, and created countless memories along the way. “After nearly a decade, we decided it was time to take everything we’d learned and create something that was truly our own,” Tracy explains. “Doughney’s gave us the opportunity to do that while staying right here in the community that has supported us all these years. The name is a nod to our family name and the dough that brings every sandwich together. It felt like the perfect name for this next chapter.”

Mark and Tracy have spent most of their adult lives as business owners, but creating a brand that truly reflected their family and their vision was something special. “We’ve each taken different career paths over the years, but our biggest inspiration has always been our belief in one another,” Tracy says. “We encourage each other to take chances, trust our instincts, and go for it. Taking the leap with Doughney’s felt natural. We believed in each other and in what we knew we could build together for this amazing community.” That same passion carries into the day-to-day operations at Doughney’s. Mark, Tracy, and Evan remain closely involved, whether they’re making sandwiches, chatting with customers, cleaning tables, or jumping in wherever they’re needed. They’re quick to recognize that Doughney’s wouldn’t be what it is without the amazing team working alongside them. “We’re incredibly fortunate to have such a wonderful team,” Tracy says. “They work hard, take pride in what they do, and help create a welcoming atmosphere. They're a big part of what makes Doughney’s special.”

The response from the Loomis community has been incredibly encouraging. Doughney’s has given longtime customers something new to discover while welcoming first-time faces through the door. “We’ve been fortunate to be a part of this community for nearly a decade, and we don’t take that for granted,” Mark says. “Doughney’s is our next chapter, but Loomis will always be the heart of our story.”
