Pavel Kioroglo, owner of Dream Audio Video Systems, is a native of Moldova who was a nine years old child when he arrived in Sacramento in 1998. Today, he and his wife, Ilona, are raising three energetic kids in Lincoln. Pavel’s career in AV began in 2008 when he started as a subcontractor in satellite TV and internet with DirecTV/AT&T. He took a risk starting the business, selling everything he owned to borrow money to get the proper training and tools. “I took a leap of faith and instinct that this would prove to be successful if I gave it my all and would be committed to complete customer satisfaction,” Pavel says. Soon after, Pavel became the top performing subcontractor in the greater Sacramento area, boasting about 20,000 installs. He then acquired a California contractor’s license so he could pursue his passion for custom audio video installation.

At Dream Audio Video Systems, the mission is to deliver clients the latest technology from AV professionals who have years of expertise in the field. “Audio video has no limits and no bounds,” Pavel explains. “It became our passion and we enjoy the never-ending search for high quality and fidelity in music and cinema.” They start with an initial home consultation, where they discuss options that include simple TV installations, high-end stereo setups, whole home audio upgrades, surround sound, home theater, cameras, WiFi upgrades, LED ambient lighting, and AV furniture. The company handles design, ordering, delivery, installation, and package/equipment haul away. Our search before finding this wonderful company was a horrible endeavor. We contacted installers from Handy, Thumbtack and one person from Yelp. Everyone said they could do our very difficult project that required The Samsung Frame 85 to be mounted between pillars in an old Victorian Mansion. We had brick behind drywall and rodent chewed wiring in many places of the home. Two different installers came and after spending hours trying to figure it out resulted in a “no can do”. One other supposed contractor said he could cut the wall and move wiring. We said yes to the estimate and after cutting holes and causing tons of dust all around our home they realized they couldn’t go around our pillars because they didn’t have special tools and they didn’t feel comfortable putting a conduit inside the wall for future proofing the wiring that might come later. After that we find out he never was licensed and didn’t have insurance and would only refund us the $500 deposit. He pretty much ran away leaving us with an open wall and a big mess. After an extensive and exhausting search we found DAVS. They assured us that they have plenty of experience doing tough installations and had many different tools to accomplish specialized installations. Pavel is the owner and his installers were amazing. Although priced much higher, they did tons of other much needed work that we didn’t even realize we were going to need to do eventually either way.

They installed 1.5 inch conduit about 20 feet in the wall and ran it to our wiring closet. They installed a custom wall mounted swiveling AV rack, they sold us the Amazing TV, Marantz AVR and Kep speakers and a giant beautiful 15 inch REL Acoustics Subwoofer. They put Sonos throughout five zones around our 4500 sq ft home. They gave us Episode ground speakers with a super cool in ground subwoofer. We were also struggling with 20 meg slow ATT internet and they introduced us to StarLink and set up a super custom Unifi hardwired access points wifi network. They spent four days and did our WiFi, all of our TVs, and all of our audio and wiring needs. Our next project for them will be high quality security cameras by Ubiquiti and our Dream Home Theater system which they said they can do with very nice Martin Logan speakers.
