Dr. Tyler Holt has built a reputation for delivering personalized, high-quality orthodontic care rooted in both innovation and genuine connection.

With his father, Dr. Mark Holt as his mentor, Dr. Tyler has helped grow the Holt Orthodontics practice while maintaining a strong foundation of excellence and integrity. Together, they have expanded from three locations to five, with their newest office opening in Granite Bay. Their shared vision and commitment to patient care have been instrumental in shaping Holt Orthodontics into a trusted name throughout the region.

Dr. Tyler’s journey began in Granite Bay, where he attended Granite Bay High School and excelled as a student-athlete. He went on to play college football as a kicker at Brigham Young University before pursuing his dental education at the University of Oklahoma. After completing dental school, he continued at Oklahoma for an additional two and a half years to complete his orthodontic residency. In 2016, he returned home to join the family practice, bringing with him advanced training and a passion for helping others.

With over 60 years of combined experience among its doctors at Holt Orthodontics, the practice is known for delivering efficient, effective treatment. Dr. Mark Holt has lectured locally, nationally, and internationally, sharing best practices in clear aligner therapy with other dental professionals. This depth of knowledge translates into shorter treatment times and highly customized care for patients of all ages. The team emphasizes starting treatment at the optimal time, offering complimentary observation visits for children to ensure care begins only when necessary.

The patient experience at Holt Orthodontics is intentionally designed to be fun, engaging, and memorable. Each office features a sports-themed atmosphere that reflects the team-oriented approach to care. Milestones are celebrated with enthusiasm, from ringing the bell at the end of treatment to enjoying a visit to the candy wall.

Beyond clinical excellence, Holt Orthodontics is deeply committed to giving back. The practice donates more than $40,000 annually to local schools and community organizations and partners with the Sacramento District Dental Society to provide orthodontic care for underserved children through the Smiles for Kids program. Team members, including Dr. Miriam Behpour, generously volunteer their time and expertise to support these efforts.

Dr. Tyler values the relationships he builds with his patients, finding great fulfillment in watching their confidence grow as their smiles transform. With more than 30,000 patients treated and over 2,000 five-star reviews, the impact of Holt Orthodontics is evident across the community.

Dr. Tyler lives in Granite Bay with his wife and four children and serves as President of the Eureka Union School District Board. He enjoys family time through building LEGOs, skiing, and beach trips, and is a proud “Disney Dad.” Outside the office, he remains focused on family, community, and delivering exceptional orthodontic care.
