Pest Pros Pest Solutions is a true family-owned and operated company built on trust, relationships, and long-term care. While the company provides professional pest control services, at its core it serves families, both the clients it protects and the team members it employs. Its mission is to protect homes, develop people, strengthen families, and give back to the Sacramento community.
The president of the company is Josh Fleenor, who was born and raised in Sacramento and considers the community home in every sense of the word. A devoted father, his children are the center of everything he does. Each of them has shaped him in different ways, teaching him resilience, patience, accountability, and perspective. For him, family is not a buzzword but a way of life. Outside of work, he is deeply committed to personal growth, leadership development, health, and building people.
The defining moment that led to the creation of Pest Pros came when his daughter, Dixie, underwent heart surgery. Sitting in a hospital room as a parent stripped life down to its essentials, making it clear that nothing mattered more than family and time. From that point forward, every decision was filtered through the lens of being a dad first. Pest Pros exists because life became very real during that season. Dixie’s heart surgery was the catalyst, but all of his children are the reason. Pest Pros was built to be more than pest control, with a purpose centered on building people, serving families, and giving back. Born from love, faith, and hardship rather than ambition alone, Pest Pros exists to create a lasting legacy rooted in service and impact.
The company’s culture is what truly sets it apart. People are not treated as replaceable. There is a deep investment in developing leaders, building character, and doing things the right way, even when it is more difficult. That mindset is reflected in how clients are served and how team members treat one another. The belief is that business should be a platform for serving others, and personal and leadership growth are non-negotiable values.
Pest Pros is proudly a family operation. Three of Josh’s older children work within the company, contributing, learning, and growing alongside the team. Though still young, Dixie is affectionately teased as the future president of Pest Pros. More than titles, what matters most is that the children are able to see firsthand what it looks like to build something with integrity, purpose, and heart.
