Arden Dispatch
OCTOBER 2026
For the team at Arden Dispatch, the goal is to help make everyday errands easier to accomplish. The Dispatch pros are striving to provide their customers with the best possible service, delighting newcomers and regulars alike with their offerings.
Annie Hyatt, owner of Arden Dispatch, grew up near Del Dayo Elementary and spent nearly three decades living in Seattle. She and her family visited often, and each trip revealed to Annie how much she loved the area. Annie retired to Del Dayo and opened Arden Dispatch in May 2023. The initial vision for the company was to have a service-type business that focused on solving business needs and making people’s days a little easier. Arden Dispatch offers a wide range of services, including printing professional documents, shipping items, printing photos, having items notarized, and many other everyday tasks. They offer shipping options through USPS, FedEx, and UPS, mailbox rentals, professional packing, gifts, document printing, shredding, live-scan fingerprinting, passport photos, gift wrapping, and laminating. But the list doesn’t end there—the professionals at Arden Dispatch also offer film transfer to USB, package holding, fulfillment, and copy/scan/fax work. “What makes us unique is that we do so many services under one roof,” Annie says. “And we aren’t all business; we have a fun side to our store, too!”
Annie has learned much from this entrepreneurial venture. When she and her team come across roadblocks on their journey, they come together to discuss options and choose in which direction to go. “In general, we try to do our best to make our customers happy and still make a good business decision,” she says. Some of the things that Annie focuses on that contribute to the business’s success include tracking numbers and statistics, journaling, reading books, and listening to podcasts. She adds that she’s connected with many independent retail store owners who offer advice and suggest best practices. Her favorite insights for other entrepreneurs are to be flexible and to always be ready for new opportunities when they present themselves.
After three years in business, Annie is excited for what the future holds for herself and for Arden Dispatch. Since they first opened their doors, the reception from the community has been beyond what she imagined. “This initial vision has come to fruition, and it is exactly how I envisioned it,” she says. “Now, we are looking for new services to offer to our community.” Her goals for the company include increasing employee pay and offering more benefits to her workers. She adds that they’re also hoping to offer more printing in-house and to expand their fulfillment services. Arden Dispatch has proven itself as an indispensable one-stop-shop, with much more to offer on the road ahead. “I really love that we are making a positive contribution to this neighborhood with our services and our happy spirit,” Annie explains.
