As a luxury florist, Treasured Days Florals uses premium blooms and high-quality vessels, pieces meant to be cherished and reused rather than tucked away. Each design is created with an artistic sensibility, often reflecting an airy, natural aesthetic. The shop offers a thoughtfully curated selection of seasonal designs, everyday arrangements, and custom creations tailored to each client’s vision.
Owner and floral designer Kerri Bessey and her team source locally grown blooms and greenery whenever possible, supporting local flower farmers and ensuring longer-lasting arrangements. The boutique’s gift selection features local and handcrafted items, ideal for hostess and birthday gifts or as a personal indulgence, as well as luxury décor items for the home. Additionally, the shop carries the highest quality permanent botanicals on the market, which are so realistic that customers often stop to smell them. These can be purchased by the stem or designed into custom arrangements.
The inspiration behind Treasured Days Florals is deeply personal. When Kerri’s husband, Dan Bessey, was battling pancreatic cancer, the family adopted the motto “Treasure each day.” After his passing, Kerri sought to rebuild her life around her lifelong passion for floral design. She trained at the Floral Design Institute, became a certified floral designer, and opened Treasured Days Florals in Dan’s honor.
Since opening about four years ago, the business has flourished, growing from a one-woman operation to a talented team of three. Kerri takes pride in the joy her work brings to clients, whether through heartfelt feedback, a glowing review, or hearing how much the flowers were loved by happy recipients.
Clients are drawn to the shop’s warm ambiance, artistic arrangements, and thoughtfully chosen gifts. Treasured Days Florals offers delivery, flower subscriptions, and corporate floral services for lobbies and reception areas, refreshed weekly or biweekly.

Kerri lives in Sierra Oaks, just minutes from the shop. After being widowed for four years, she recently married David Truesdell. Her daughter, a sophomore at Hofstra University on Long Island and a St. Francis High School alumna, loves life on the East Coast. Kerri also enjoys spending time with her bonus children in the Bay Area and Tennessee, and with her three dogs, Cooper and Jaxon, both Shelties, and Hope, a yellow lab.
